  • Over 150,000 tons of shea butter is exported from Africa to America and Europe every year! Out of that, 50,000 tons comes from Northern Ghana. Yet the 3 million women who make this shea butter, live in extreme poverty. As in, their kids only get only one meal a day.
  • Northshea is committed to providing a stable livelihood to women living in rural Ghana by providing direct avenues for income and is handcrafted by incredible and hardworking local Ghanaian women.
